Meet the team
JAMIE SMITH
- OWNER/PRESIDENT
- Jamie started Diamond King Group in 2009. With years of prior experience in residential construction & development, mortgage financing, and residential real estate, Jamie is responsible for DKDG’s daily operations as well as future growth goals.
- In addition to leading Diamond King, Jamie is a charter board member of Worldly Kids, a non-profit organization focused on raising funds for local Title I schools in the Phoenix Metro area.
- Jamie is married to Jody Smith (the design mind behind Diamond King), and has two kids. The Smiths enjoy traveling in their RV, pickleball, and going to sports events together. Jamie is an avid concert goer, and relaxes by playing piano and guitar.
JODY SMITH
- OWNER/DESIGN
- Jody’s design work has made Diamond King’s homes into some of the most sought after properties in Phoenix and Tucson. She feels blessed to be doing what she loves each and every day along with getting to work with all the great contractors that make her creative visions become reality.
- In her spare time, Jody enjoys hanging out with her family, hiking with the dogs, as well as cooking and enjoying a great bottle of wine with friends whenever possible! When she has free time, she loves to paint, listen to music and read a good book.
ASHLEY WINKLER
- DESIGN ASSISTANT/PURCHASING
- Ashley joined Diamond King as a design intern prior to graduating from the University of Arizona. Her enthusiasm and energy are invaluable traits that help connect the design team’s plans with crews in the field.
- Ashley also oversees Diamond King’s purchasing functions. With multiple projects in production throughout the year, she orgainzes and manages materials and logistics to ensure items are received and ready for site delivery when needed.
- In her free time, Ashley enjoys photography, making sushi, and writing poetry!
